Remembering Steve Kieran on his birthday
The Club has recently lost another good servant.
Steve started playing for Llangefni Rugby Club about 1987 until 1994 with his brothers Kevin and Vince. He played in the front row alongside his cousin Bins (Dafydd Edwards from Gwalchmai).
Steve Kieran joined the Cefni junior section when son his Jason started playing for the u8's in the late 90's. He qualified as a junior coach and along with Bleddyn Hughes and Martin Hughes he coached the u14s/u15s and u16s. He also organised a very successful tour with Clwb Rygbi Llangefni u15's to Holland in 2002 where they beat a Dutch u15's side and beat Nelson RFC's u15’s side in the final of a prestigious tournament.
